Kringle Place Shopping Center
Kringle Place is the only shopping center in the town of Santa Claus. Originally named Holly Plaza when it was constructed in the 1960’s, Kringle Place features over 12 businesses including a grocery store, pharmacy, dry cleaners, travel agency, hair salon, video store, dance studio, gift shops, and the world-famous Santa Claus Post Office. Holly Plaza was purchased by Koch Development Corporation in 1997. The name was changed to Kringle Place and renovations have made it into a Bavarian/Christmas village befitting the town's heritage. Ownership of Kringle Place was transferred to HO HO HOldings, LLC in May 2002. Kringle Place is a prime location for retail business as Santa Claus, Indiana has the fastest growing population rate in the state and attracts over 750,000 tourists per year.
